Withdrawal from membership in the Fund must be communicated by registered email to pec.fasi@fasi.postecert.it or by registered letter by 31 October of each year to

with a copy to be sent, for its information, to the company worked for (Article D of the Regulations).

Members who withdraw from membership of the Fund:

  • If working managers, may apply for re-enrolment only if they have the credentials required by the Statute.
  • If managers continuing their membership voluntarily, may apply for re-enrolment only if they acquire a different enrolment credential and meet the requisites of the Statute for enrolment as a working or retired manager.

In both these cases, managers requesting re-enrolment with the Fund must pay a higher entry fee as per Article L of the Regulations.

Retired managers who voluntarily withdraw from the Fund may no longer re-enrol with the same credentials.

Here is a reminder of the provisions of Article B of the Regulations regarding the duration of membership:

  • Enrolment taking place in the first half of the calendar year lasts until 31 December of the same year.
  • Enrolment taking place in the second half of the calendar year lasts until 31 December of the following year.
CESSATION

Membership generally ceases with any loss of the requisites. All cases of maintained membership are described in detail in the Statute and in the โ€œHow to maintain membershipโ€.

In the event of termination of employment, membership ceases at the end of the calendar quarter in which the termination occurred, or, for periods covered by allowances in lieu of notice, at the end of the calendar quarter in which the period replaced by the allowance ends.

We remind you that managers who become involuntarily unemployed can benefit from GS-FASI protection for a period not exceeding one year.
